Why I’m Here

When I moved to Cornwall with my family, I was looking for room to breathe, good schools where my kids felt safe and seen, great hiking trails, and at least a couple of places to get an ice cream cone. I found all of that, and so much more. I found a community.

And now I am running for Town Board because I believe in our community, and I want to be an active part of guiding our progress and development going into 2024 and beyond.

What I Know

My political history goes back many years, working hard on campaigns ranging from city council races all the way to Congressional seats. I’ve knocked doors, planted signs, and written newsletters and social media feeds.

But what I’ve done most of all is learn that the work of community service is never done. It is on-going, and ever evolving, as the needs of each community change and expand.

This kind of dynamic reality requires leaders with agility. Leaders who are watching and listening, and—more than anything—who care about experiences beyond their own.

What I Do

It is not fair to ask of others what you are not willing to do yourself. - Eleanor Roosevelt

I am a writer, an editor, a reader, a mother, a homeowner, a neighbor, a citizen, a voter, and so much more. And with your help, I will be your next town council member.

I am a thoughtful, engaged person and I believe our leaders should be thoughtful and engaged. I am serious about public service and about politics, and I am running because I know this work matters.
